Bridlewood Community Elementary School is a Canadian elementary and middle school located on 63 Bluegrass Drive, Kanata, Ontario. It is situated in the ward of Kanata South, in the Bridlewood neighbourhood. It has classes ranging from junior kindergarten to grade 8. There are also two core French classes, a computer lab, and a library with a collection of over 15,000 books. There are six intermediate classes, including a gifted grade 7/8 class. The school, operated by the Ottawa-Carleton District School Board, currently has a student attendance of about 501 and 47 staff members (including non-teaching staff). The principal of Bridlewood C.E.S is Mrs. McKenna-Upshaw, and its acting vice-principal is Mr. Gervais.

It is especially noted for its excellent band and for its performance in local basketball tournaments. The band is led by grade 7/8 music teacher, Mr. Williamson. Since 1994 the Senior band (mostly consisting of grade 8 students, with a few extremely talented grade 7 students) has made an annual trip to Toronto. The focus of this three day trip has included competitive performances at Canada's Wonderland and Ontario Place, and going to tourist locations such as Niagra Falls, Marine Land, and Clifford Hill. The school is also famous for the games won in local basketball tournaments. For example, last year, the school won two gold medals in local tournaments and one silver in the famous Glashan Tournament.

Other teachers that currently work in this school include, Mrs. Armstrong (Science and 7/8 gifted class), Mme. Spugies (Core French), Mr. Warrington (Grade Eight Home Room and Newspaper Club Leader), Mrs. Reid (Science and Math), Mr. Pharand (Physical Education). [1]
