Image & Form International Aktiebolag is a Swedish video game developer based in Gothenburg. Founded by Brjánn Sigurgeirsson in 1997, the company started out developing educational software before shifting to video games in 2009. Image & Form is best known for its SteamWorld series, which had its latest release with SteamWorld Dig 2 in September 2017.
On 25 January 2018, Image & Form announced it had together with Zoink, another Gothenburg-based studio, formed a new parent company called Thunderful[3] and a new sister-company called Thunderful Publishing that will help the studios with publishing related tasks and also look for third-party games by other developers. Image & Form is still a separate company with a dedicated development team and will continue development of its own games in the SteamWorld franchise[4].
