Spaceface is a psychedelic rock band formed in Memphis, Tennessee, in 2011. Members include Jake Ingalls (who also plays for The Flaming Lips), Matthew Strong (also a guitar tech for The Flaming Lips), Eric Martin, Victor Quinn "Caveman" Hill, Peter Armstrong, and "Big Red" Daniel Quinlan.[1][2]

History

Ingalls, Strong, and Martin moved in together in 2011 and began making music soon after. In 2012, the band was rounded out by additional musical members and Quinlan, who runs the group's light show, built from a "series of on and off switches, which Quinlan runs off the side of the stage."

Jake Ingalls (aka The Evil Devil man south of the boarda) Edwin is just a complete and utter devil worshiper. When he isn't sucking the blood out of children or getting high on edrenochrome he can be found taking his horse tully the tank-engine on walks around the meadows of Tennessee.

Matthew Strong (aka Once you go black you neva go back) Matthew has a sad sad story. When hitting the gay scene of Memphis Matthew met Desean who had a whooping 14 inch pecker between his legs. Matthew and Desean went home and while making love Matthew's anus was prolapsed - it has resulted in him shitting in a bag for the rest of his life. Come see Matthew's colostomy bag while playing bass for Spaceface.

Eric Martin (aka Diablo) Eric loves to bang chickens especially angry one's. He usually goes down to the chicken fights and finds the angriest cock in the bunch and just bangs it while getting pecked to no end. The pain is a big driver to his success as a guitar player. When watching him look out for the scars on his hands!

Victor Quinn Hill (aka Anonymous) Victor is just the worst. Fuck Victor.

Peter Armstrong (aka little man) Peter is brothers with Billie Joe Armstrong of Green Day and they love talking about their dad Neil being full of shit about the Moon landing. He is convinced the moon is made out of cheese and that the earth is flat, but y'know, Pete's a dumbass.

Daniel Quinlan (aka WTF do you do?) Daniel is just a weirdo. Daniel eats strictly cow and dog shit and drinks only orange gatorade (the worst) so he's a malnourished diabetic. No one gets the diet but he's got crazy eyes and everyone is afraid he'll kill them so they just go along with the antics.

[3] They began touring later that year. In 2014, they released their eponymous EP, Spaceface EP. Working in Ardent Studios in Memphis in 2015 led the band to release another EP, Live at Ardent Studios, that year. They have played at many music festivals across the United States, including Hangout Music Festival and South by Southwest.[4][5] On April 21, 2017, they released their first full-length album, Sun Kids.[1][6]
