Ref. self

I’m sorry if this is a simple question, but how could I add myself as a reference for an image? I took a picture and put it in an article, it got removed. It was my picture so I could not put anyone else. Again, sorry if it is a stupid question, I’m new. Guysmakeedits (talk) 18:12, 20 March 2019 (UTC)[reply]

If you come across usernames in breach of WP:USERNAME, feel free to list them at WP:UAA. This one appeared on my watchlist and I've dealt with it. Thanks for the vandalism fighting. Mjroots (talk) 12:30, 28 March 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Why did you delete my edit that I made on Vanessa AlonnaL (talk) 22:50, 28 March 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Because you did not provide a source when you claimed she dated someone on the lead of the article. In compliance with the Biographies of living persons policy, it has been removed. Please provide one if you wish to readd it, or else it may get removed again. theinstantmatrix (talk) 22:58, 28 March 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Disruptive Edits?

What is your problem with the edits made to Hildale City? There is so much incorrect information posted. This city is trying to heal and they would like to get rid of incorrect information and not be defined by Warren Jeffs. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Rbarlow1 (talkcontribs) 02:06, 3 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Account blocked for using a sock puppet to continue these same disruptive edits. theinstantmatrix (talk) 19:56, 4 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Kill This Love

Hi, why did you delete the Blackpink single "Kill This Love" page? Arianatoreblink (talk) —Preceding undated comment added 19:24, 4 April 2019‎

Compared to the previous articles, this one does not have any sources at all to have the song its own article, probably too soon to have one anyway. The page is merely redirected to the EP itself - there's no actual deletion happening here. When enough time passes, especially in KST, please provide sources you can find and add them when restoring the content. theinstantmatrix (talk) 19:51, 4 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Denis Lyons Wikipedia page

I am the maternal granddaughter of Denis Lyons T.D. His date of birth is incorrect and I wish to add who he was survived by at the time of his death, namely his wife and children. I am not disrupting or vandalizing anything. I will supply a reference of his birth certificate to prove his date of birth is 1930, not 1935. Regards OrlaKathleen (talk) 18:14, 7 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]

See Wikipedia:Verifiability and also Wikipedia:Conflict of interest. If you persistently add content that's unsourced, then yes it is technically disruptive. theinstantmatrix (talk) 18:23, 7 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]

A message from YuriM865

While I can understand and respect that the formatting and rules need to be followed, it's neither fair nor useful to the other users when you summarily reject bona fide, useful information germane to the topic(s). Both updates you undid were consistent with the nature and scope of the pages they were posted on. If the format or linking was wrong, I apologize and that can be fixed as citations or not at all, but to remove all valid content is not useful for the overall community. YuriM865 (talk) 18:01, 8 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]

They were reverted on a basis that they contained spam links, and were promotional in general; this is not the first time you've ever done this. You've started to edit Selfie to include SelfieYo, whatever that is, but the only thing we need to know is that they're not notable for inclusion on an encyclopedia, plus spamming, and so has been removed. If you continue to insert them, you may be blocked from editing. theinstantmatrix (talk) 18:13, 8 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]
And... 1, 2, 3. Account is now blocked indefinitely. theinstantmatrix (talk) 18:15, 8 April 2019 (UTC) edited 18:41, 8 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]

I scanned and posted my autographed photo she sent me. After reading the wiki guide lines, why does this not make the cut? Thank you, B- — Preceding unsigned comment added by BrianFrench1995 (talkcontribs) 00:33, 15 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Then ask her to send OTRS permission of her photo at Wikimedia Commons, assuming she photographed it herself. theinstantmatrix (talk) 01:11, 15 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]
