  • I strongly doubt, the lake is formed from the Pavana River they're quite a handful of article about it. Lapablo (talk) 18:39, 9 May 2019 (UTC)

Pawna Lake is an artificial lake in the Indian state of Maharashtra formed by backwater of Pawna Dam.[1] This dam is constructed across the Pavana River.[2] It is situated near Lonavla only 25km from Lonavala city. Because of it’s beautiful view Pawna is a popular picnic and camping spot for Mumbai and Pune public.[3][4] Around 4000 people visit this place on every weekend from Mumbai and Pune.[5][6]
