Ota, Ogun

Located in south-western Nigeria, Ota has over 163,000 residents living in or around it and is the fourth largest city in Ogun State.

Also known as Sango-Ota, Ota possesses a large market, found just north of the tollgate on the Lagos-Abeokuta Expressway. Ota is also well-known as the home of Nigerian president Olusegun Obasanjo's farm, the renowned Royal College, the compound of the mega-church Winner's Chapel, and the Africa Leadership Forum. Many manufacturing companies make their home in the industrial area just north of the Sango market. There are 2 universities in Otta, Covenant University and Bells University of Technology. The city is also home to Iganmode Grammar School.
