Gayatri Devi (born 01 January 1964) is an Indian politician.[1] She is the member of the Bihar Legislative Assembly since November 2015 representing Parihar Vidhan Sabha constituency.[2][3]

Early life and education

She was born in a village Koili Bhraon of Muzaffarpur district in Bihar state. She has passed grade 9th.[1]

Personal life

She is wife of former BJP MLA Ram Naresh Prasad Yadav.[4] Her husband Ram Naresh Yadav is in jail related to Sitamarhi collectorate gun firing case.[5]

Political career

In 1990 she joined politics. She held various positions in Sitamarhi BJP female wing. In 2015 Bihar Assembly elections she contested as BJP candidate from Parihar Vidhan Sabha constituency. And defeated her nearest rival Ramchandra Purve of RJD.[1]
