Park Han-ki (Korean:박한기) is a South Korean General who serves as the 41st and incumbent Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff since October 11, 2018. Prior to his appointment, he was the former commander of the 2nd Operational Command and the I Corps.

He was born on January 16, 1960 in Buyeo County, South Chungcheong Province, South Korea.
He was a product of the Reserve Officers' Training Corps program at the University of Seoul, after graduating being commissioned as a second lieutenant in 1983. He also completed programs at KAIST in 2010, and in Ajou University in 2017.
He held various commands in the military, such as the 1st Battalion, 102nd Regiment, 17th Infantry Division; 53rd Infantry Division and the VIII Corps. As well as Operations Officer (G3), 23rd Infantry Division; Chief of Plans and Organization, 2nd Operations Command; Chief of Staff, 1st Corps; and the Chief of Staff, 2nd Operational Command, before being appointed by President Moon Jae-in as the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff in October 2018.
He is married to Chung Hee-Li and has two daughters. [1] [2]
