Anish Luitel (Nepali: अनिस लुइँटेल; born 1st April 1994) is the first Scout from Nepal and first Boy Scout to climb Mount Everest from both South and North Side.[2]

Everest Summits

  • Mr. Luitel first made an attempt to climb Mount Everest in 2015, which failed due to the massive Avalanche and lost two of his teammates.[3]
  • In 2016, May 21st, at the age of 22, Luitel successfully summited Mount Everest from the south side becoming the first scout from Jhapa district of Nepal to summit Mount Everest.In this successful attempt, he brought Northern Star Council Boy Scouts of the American flag along with him. [4]
