Rating

I have decided to rate this article as C-class, since it is clearly no longer a stub article. It is well-cited enough for a Good Article nomination, in my opinion. However, it could perhaps be better illustrated; currently it has only one image. I'm surprised the main editor of this article didn't bother to link it in obvious places, like Roman Republic, although I have since provided links in other articles.
