I have decided to rate this article as C-class, since it is clearly no longer a stub article. It is well-cited enough for a Good Article nomination, in my opinion. However, it could perhaps be better illustrated; currently it has only one image. I'm surprised the main editor of this article didn't bother to link it in obvious places, like Roman Republic, although I have since provided links in other articles. This article is currently in Category:Elections by former country. The problem is that is a container category, and so should contain only other categories, not individual articles like this one. Mouritsen's Politics (see BCMR review) and the relevant portions of CAH⁹ on the constitution should be relevant source additions for further reading (if not to inform portions of the article). Millar's Crowd in Rome (1998) should also be relevant reading as well.
