Smoking Gun Interactive (SGI) is an independent video game development studio based in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. It is known for developing medieval MMO tower defense game Age of Empires: Castle Siege,[1] which is published by Microsoft Studios.[2]

Smoking Gun was founded in 2007 by former developers from Relic Entertainment, who produced the Company of Heroes series.[3][4]
