Thambi (transl. Younger Brother) is an upcoming Indian Tamil-language action thriller film, written and directed by Jeethu Joseph and produced by Viacom18 Studios along with Parallel Minds Productions. The film stars Karthi, Jyothika and Sathyaraj in lead roles.

Production
In March 2019, it was announced that Karthi and Jyothika would be sharing screen space together for the first time under the direction of Jeethu Joseph.[1] Later, Govind Vasantha and R. D. Rajasekhar was confirmed to be the film's music director and cinematographer respectively.[2]
The film's title revealed to be Thambi on 15 November 2019, while also revealing that the Telugu version of the film was titled as Donga.[3]

The soundtrack is composed by Govind Vasantha, and the audio rights of the film were acquired by Lahari Music.
Marketing
The first look of Thambi, along with its Telugu version Donga was released on 15 November 2019.[4] The following day, the teaser of the film alongside with its Telugu version, was released by Suriya on 16 November 2019.[5] The second look poster was released on 23 November 2019.
