Otmar Gutmann (24 April 1937 – 13 October 1993) was a German television producer, animator, and director. He created the long-running Swiss (later British) stop-motion children's television series Pingu in 1990,[1] made at his studio Trickfilmstudio (then Pingu Filmstudio and later The Pygos Group).
