NECA.

The National Entertainment Collectibles Association or NECA is an American manufacturer of collectibles typically licensed from films, sports, music and television based out of New Jersey. The company was founded in 1997 and has over 60 licenses for which it produces products .

In 2002, NECA's Reel Toys was formed as a division to produce action figures and dolls that are targeted towards action figure and toy enthusiasts. They are intended for teens and adults as collectibles for many licenses that no other company would really try to market as a toy.

NECA is best known for obtaining licenses such as Silence of the Lambs and V for Vendetta.

NECA has created a line for horror, action, and sci-fi characters. Series 1:


Pirates of the Caribbean

NECA has released multiple series of Pirates of the Caribbean action figures from Curse of the Black Pearl, Dead Man's Chest, and soon to be At World's End. In addition to the figures and accessories, each figure comes with a small base that connects with other bases from the other figures to make your own diorama of an important scene in the movie. The series of Curse of the Black Pearl include:

Figures in series 1-3 will include bases to form the Treasure Grotto scene from the climax of the film.

There has also been talks of a series 4, which would inlcude: Captain Jack Sparrow, Hadras, Tia Dalma, and Lord Cutler Beckett. At World's End In series 1 of At World's End there has been rumored to be: Captain Jack Sparrow, maybe in chinese warrior garb, Will Turner, Captain Sao Feng, and a Cursed Pirate from Sao Feng's crew. They will include bases for The Empress, A Chinese Palace, or Davy Jones' Locker. Again, these are only rumors, the figures come out in May of 2007. More news will come.

There has also been talks of a series 6, which might include The Hanging Tree, Mr. Hyde, The Mudman, and the Corpse Family. Many of these were fan requested, so it is a possibility that these figures will get made.
