Douglas Scot Kerns II is a Republican candidate for District 23 of Montana's state legislature.[1][2] Kerns is a Lutheran pastor, having been ordained in the Lutheran Church - Missouri Synod after attending Concordia Theological Seminary in Fort Wayne, Indiana. [3][4] He has served as a chaplain in the United States Air Force[5] as well as currently being a chaplain with the fire department in Vaughn, MT. [6] He has been a guest pastor five times on KFUO radio.[7]
