Pukou, Nanjing

Pukou, Jiangsu, China a city district of the City of Nanjing directly northwest across the Yangtze River from Nanjing.

Formerly the city at the southern terminus of the Tianjin-Pukou Railroad. Railcars had to be ferried aross the river until it was bridged after World War Two.
