Praga Yadav, also known as Pragya Kapoor, is a Swedish-Indian model, actress, and producer. [1]She was born in Borgholm and raised in Karlskrona, Sweden. She has trained in acting at the Institute of Advanced Acting and Behavioral Studies. [2]

She married film director and producer Abhishek Kapoor on 4 May 2015. [3]They have two children, Isana and Shamsher. [4]

Career

Pragya Kapoor is best known for her work in Amole Gupte's Hawaa Hawaai (2014). [5]She has produced Kedarnath (2018) with Ronnie Screwvala, along with Abhishek Kapoor and Abhishek Nayyar as co-producers. [6]She is the co-founder of Guy In The Sky Pictures. [7]In collaboration with Bhushan Kumar's T Series, she was to be producing Sharaabi. [8]

Social work and activism

Pragya Kapoor is an environmentalist, she has participated actively in cleanliness drives and beach clean-ups to save the environment. [9]She organized a beach clean-up with the Mahim beach cleanup team to raise awareness about plastic pollution. [10]On her son Isana's birthday she hosted a zero-waste party. [11]
