The Stonehaven rail crash was a major railway accident that occurred on 12 August 2020, at Stonehaven, Aberdeenshire, UK. Early reports state it was caused by flooding and a resultant landslide.[1]

The train comprised four coaches and a locomotive; all but one coach derailed.[2]

Multiple ambulances, two air ambulance helicopters and a coastguard helicopter attended the scene.
