Monster Hunter Stories 2: Wings of Ruin[a] is an upcoming Role-playing game in the Monster Hunter series, developed and produced by Capcom for the Nintendo Switch. It is a sequal to Monster Hunter Stories and is scheduled to release in Summer 2021.[1][2]

Development

On September 17, 2020, Nintendo revealed the game during a Nintendo Direct Mini: Partner Showcase.[3] This was then followed up with more info during the Monster Hunter direct on the same day.[4] In the direct, it was mentioned that this game has compatibility with Monster Hunter Rise, however to what extent was never mentioned.[5] More information is to be revealed during the Tokyo Game Show.[6]

Release

The game is to release exclusively on the Nintendo Switch in Q3 2021 worldwide.
