This at the request of Farhansher. This is just a placeholder. I dunno if there's an article on Arabic literature and poetry, that would be relevant as well as the Persian literature article. Articles re the literature of various countries should probably also be consulted and linked. Zora 21:36, 16 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I suggest this article be moved to "Sufi literature" to encompass non-poetic works of Sufism as well.--Zereshk 05:40, 29 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Well, OK. As long as there are separate sections for poetry and lyrics. Zora 08:17, 29 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Can be done. But I cant undertake this job right now. My resources are few for the time being.--Zereshk 02:56, 1 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

written primarily in Persian

Of all Sufi poetry written in all languages, how did the author determine it was "primarily" in Persian? I see no support whatsoever. Are there studies, statistics, to prove that? Is this a peroneal impression? I find this statement really stunning.
