Rishi S Kumar is an Indian film, television actor and dancer works in Malayalam film and television industry.[2] He is known known for playing lead role in the Flowers TV sitcom Uppum Mulakum.[3] He is also fourth runner up of Bigg Boss (Malayalam season 6).[4]
Career
[edit]He made his debut in television through Dance reality show D 4 Dance Season 2 on Mazhavil Manorama. From 2015, he played lead role of Vishnu(Mudiyan) in Uppum Mulakum on Flowers TV,[5] but got ejected from the show in 2023. In 2024, he participated in Bigg Boss Malayalam season 6 on Asianet and became fourth runner up of the season.[6]

Controversy
[edit]Rishi had some issues with R Unnikrishnan, director of show Uppum Mulakum and he publicly spoke out about alleged harassment.[17][18] He expressed his dissatisfaction with the direction of the show and vulnerability of his character and the storyline.[19][20] Later Sreekandan Nair officially revealed through a program in his news channel 24 News that he is ejected from the show stating that he misbehaved in shooting locations.[21]
