Black (disambiguation)

Black is both a color and scientifically speaking the absence of color.

Black may be also used as a colorist term to describe someone who is African American, or has a darker skin tone. Though a ethnic slur, it is widely accepted by the general community as an acceptable term, when compared to other terms for African Americans, such as Negro. In example one could say, "Martin Luther King Jr. is a famous black activist."
