Compton Terrace was an amphitheater owned by Jess Nicks, father of Stevie Nicks, in Phoenix, Arizona, originally located on the grounds of Legend City from 1979 to its closing in 1983. A new Compton Terrace opened next to Firebird International Raceway in Chandler, Arizona in 1985. It was demolished in 2010. Notable past performers include Fleetwood Mac, Aerosmith, AC/DC, Phil Collins, Grateful Dead, Guns N' Roses, Queen, Iron Maiden and Bon Jovi.[1]
