Early Life[edit]

Typo Joe MMXXIII[1] Started off as simply a meme channel, where he posted videos he either edited himself, or clips he got from video games. Most of his videos barely got over 500 views, however he did get a few good ones that broke 10,000 every few months.

What is Grilled Cheese Obama Sandwich?[edit]

Grilled Cheese Obama Sandwich is a parody of XXXTENTACION's song Changes written by; Typo Joe MMXXIII, who posted a 12 second video of the song to YouTube in April 2nd of 2022. It gained about 153,000 views in 9 months. Then he posted the full song on October 25th, 2022. Which got over a million views in only 3 months.[2]

What does it mean?[edit]

In June of 2023 an article was posted explaining the true meaning of the song.[3] The article says the song is a humorous take on the problems people may deal with when trying to balance their desire for delicious food, and trying to stay healthy.

It also states that the chorus constantly repeating is trying to show the listener what a struggle that is, a healthy balance.

Ever since Joe posted that song, there has been a cult-like following. There have also been shirts, blankets, pillows, plush toys, animations, art, and more. All referencing this song.[5] There have also been other videos posted to Youtube, that has the song on loop. so people can listen to it longer.[6]
