Synopsis

Series 1

Having arrived on Scorpion Island, the adventurers are divided into two teams, known as Sting and Claw, consisting of five members each. Over the following three weeks the teams must complete various challenges in order to gain various advantages, such as extra time.[2]

Series 2

Teams Sting and Claw each have three members. Hidden away from the camp is Limbo, where ten captives are held. Each day the captives battle against each other to try and impress Sting and Claw for a chance to get out of Limbo. Four of the Limbo captives are secret power players. There are also some suprise sacrifices. [citation needed]

Note: Tara, Ayla, Alex Y and Lachlan are from Australia and the rest of the contestants are from UK.

Series 3

A new format and for the first time 3 teams take on the Island. Sting, Claw and Venom. With some very evil twists.

Series 1

There are 3 Weeks (19 days). There are 2 teams Sting and Claw On the second week they collect Powerplays for Headstarts in the final challenge to escape from the island. On the third week things get harder. They have to use their Powerplays to gain time advantages. The score was Claw on 2 and Sting on 1. The final challenge was Shadow Mountain Highway. Team Claw got a 2 minute headstart and eventually won since Sting's Kyran and Oscar received minor injuries climbing.

The Story So Far

It's now 10 players in Sting and 6 in Claw in favour of Team Sting. Although Team Sting won Ollie and pulled him out of Limbo, he wishes he was in Team Claw, like he was before he sacrificed himself. As for Team Claw, not only did they lose their chance of having Ollie back to their team, they also lost Amie and Lizzy, as they were unexpectedly kidnapped by the island and sent to Limbo. In the final Limbo challenge, Lizzy outlasted Alex T in Rollin' Thunder. Lizzy hung of the huge spindle for nearly 9 minutes, Alex T not even lasting a minute. It was supposed to be 2 on 2 but due to Livvy's leg injury, she could not compete and Aime decided to step down so it could be 1 on 1. As a result of the Ultimate Jeopardy round, the winning team will gain Amie and Lizzy. As for the losing team, not only will they gain Alex T and Livvy, they will gain two secret power players as well as Alex has the power play "Freeze" and Livvy has the power play "Head Start". Either way, Team Sting will lead with 10 members to Claw's 6. However, with challenges still to come before the final escape, both teams will be stealing members of the other, allowing Team Sting to stengthen in numbers and a great chance for Team Claw to possibly get back Oliver, Amie, and Lizzy who were former members from Team Claw. Could Team Claw catch up to Team Sting knowing that they have 2 power players to enable them to win the next challenges?

In the first part of "The Crush Rush", Amie and Anna took part in the challenge for Team Sting and Livvy selected Jake and Sammy to take part in the challenge. Livvy decided to use her power play "Head Start". As a result, since Sammy was the holder of the power play and Livvy had control of it, the head start meant that instead of the boulder was released as soon as the challenge started, the boulder was released six seconds later. In the end, Jake was the fastest to complete the course in 31 seconds, joint second was Sammy and Anna with a time of 36 seconds and in fourth place was Amie who completed the course in 41 seconds. However, there's still part two of the challenge where as pairs, Lizzy and Olivia from Team Sting and Ayla and Tara from Team Claw will take part in the challenge while holding a totem all the way to the finish round. In the first round of "Ultimate Jeopardy" noth Sting and Claw barely make it pass the ropes, but Sting just in front. In the 2nd and last round of "Ultimate Jeopardy" Claw starts of fast and steady but Tara gets gently tagged under the ropes. Even though she was tagged they keep running and and eventually made the time of 0:57 overall of the course. Olivia fighting for her life running hastefully didn't touch with the totem in the first part of the challenge but continuing to make quick progress thourgh the course. Their time was 0:47. Although Joel announced that Claw was disqualified and so was Sting, the match was declared to Sting as they got furthest in the first round.

In the first part of "Vertigo", Cameron and Alex T are captains for Team Sting and Team Claw respectively. Cameron chose Cai to climb up the ladder and Ollie to help hold the ladder with him. Alex T chose Jake to climb up the ladder and Tara to help hold the ladder with him. Despite Alex T used his "Freeze" power play, Team Sting won the challenge. Sammy, Ayla and Livvy believe that Jake might be the traitor and believed that he wanted to go to Team Sting. Team Sting selected Jake as their prize should they win the second part of the challenge. In the second part of "Vertigo", the "Ultimate Jeopardy" round, Team Sting selects Lizzy, Amie, Lachlan and Alex Y to take part in the challenge. As for Team Claw, since they must select four players and they must be different players from the last round (captain must participate if there isn't enough players) Alex T is forced to select Sammy to climb up the ladder along with Ayla and Livvy to help Alex T to support the ladder. In the end, Sammy blitzed Team Sting and not only won the Ultimate Jeopardy challenge but sucessfully defended Team Claw.

In the ring of fire, Sammy is the final captain for Team Claw and Olivia is the final captain for Team Sting. The challenge is called "Torrence of Terror" where the players have to pull raft parts to the top of the hill while facing various disasters. Then, they have to assemble the raft and paddle it to the finish.

Though Team Sting has a 4 player advantage, they can quickly get the parts to the top and build the raft. As for Team Claw, their advantage is the less number of players supporting them on the raft and less people to reach the finish.
