Incision

Incision is an American heavy metal band from Baltimore, Maryland that formed in 2006.[1] They formed originally under the name Maelstrom but changed their name to prevent potential legal issues.[2][3]

History

Incision performing live in 2009. Left to Right: Mark Madden and Daniel Freeman

In September 2009 the band performed their first concert on the main stage of Park Rock Festival. The band recorded its Demo CD consisting of both Studio and Live material recorded in 2010. The studio material was recorded at Sandybottom Studio[4] in March. They have toured with 3 Inches of Blood, Skeletonwitch, and Anal Cunt in April 2011. They have also toured with Jucifer, and Lazarus A.D., and recorded several DVDs of various concerts. In 2011 they began working on their first album, Beyond Deception, to be released by Silver Lining Studios[5]
