Early life and education
Amaral was born in 1933 in California, USA.[2] He did BA from Stanford University, San Jose, CA. And Graduate Studies from Cranbrook Academy of Art, Cranbrook,IL. He married Olga de Amaral, a textile artist.[3] In 1957, he moved to Columbia and after living there for 47 years, he was granted citizenship of Columbia.[1]
