Jonathan Park was started in the late 1990s by the Institute for Creation Research. It is now managed by Vision Forum Ministries.
Plot
Jonathan Park is a radio drama that follows the families of fictional characters Dr. Kendall Park and Jim Brenan. They build a Creation Museum on the Brenan Ranch near Abiquiu, New Mexico. Katie, Jonathan, and Joseph Park are Dr. Park's children, and his wife is Angela Park. Jim Brenan is father to Jessie, Ryan, and Summer Brenan, and husband to Martha Brenan. The Eagle's Nest, a group of Jonathan's friends, is composed of Thad and Timmy Sherman, Eddie Novachek, and Mike Thomas. These characters also create the Creation Response Team to defend their faith in Special Creation and a young earth. They compete against an evolutionary science team in a "Battle of the Worldviews" on national television and win $900,000 to support their efforts. They convert the leader of the Explorers' Society, Dr. Hunt, to Christianity. In the episodes for The Journey Never Taken, the latest album, the Creation Response Team searches for a mysterious hidden medallion from the past, "The Polar Star Medallion."[4]
