Unless we make any significant claim in the lead, we don't include citations for them in the lead. Not a strict rule, but felt I should mention it.

It would be good to start them main text by the full name of the tower, not as a continuation of the lead. Also add the location.

Are we not discovering Beckford's life a bit too much in the first para? The article seems to be losing its focus. Trim it so that we only have the connection with Bath here, not his life on a whole.
