What were there goals?

Martial law?

It is probably the case that "A state of emergency was declared by acting president Emmanuel Carter", however was it true that "martial law was imposed"? That would be a quite different matter, and as far as I know the law of Trinidad did not allow for "martial law".203.80.61.102 (talk) 22:34, 13 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]
