Rewrite

I've almost completely re-written the episode descriptions, and I've included the kanji titles (from Excel Saga's Japanese wiki article. for all episodes, the romaji where I was confident in my Japanese, dates aired, as well as DVD cover-art from ADV's website. This is all in the example of List of Fullmetal Alchemist episodes.

Please, please, please add to or correct my romaji!--Monocrat 03:10, 29 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Just an idea

Would it make sense for the anime episode list to include what Rikudo authorizes each episode to become? I.e., Ep. 1 => "anime", Ep. 2 => "space opera", [...] , Ep. 26 => "musical film". Just a suggestion. -- grm_wnr Esc 07:57, 8 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Perhaps not as a discrete item or sentence in all of them, but it's worth mentioning in a few episodes. On a different note, even though the manga section is kind of stubby at the moment, what do you think would be a good title for the article? All I can come up with is "Excel Saga media" or "List of Excel Saga media."
I think that would only make sense as a discrete item. You see, I intended this to make this list a bit more unique than all the other anime episode lists, but it's only an idea. As for the "media", I think it's a bit clunky but I can also think of no better name, so we should probably stick with it for now. -- grm_wnr Esc 17:30, 8 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Maybe I'm just not picturing it right. Perhaps you could give me an example of what you're thinking? I can't think of anything better than media, either, but to better justify that title, I hope to add the Japanese- and other-language video and manga releases in the near future. On a side note, thanks for the great edits on the international versions part!

Japanese manga information

I pulled all I could find from Amazon-Japan, but I'm still missing pagination for later volumes as well as days of the months in which volumes were released. Assistance would be appreciated. What would be the proper way of noting missing data? A footnote or empty cell?--Monocrat 02:36, 13 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

inclusion of "genres" for anime episodes

I does seem like very interesting to me to include what the manga author authorizes the series to be turned into in each anime episode. This is (for what I've seen, didn't finish yet) the major structural element throughout the series. Althought this (one episode = one genre) has been done time and again, I'm not sure it has ever been done so clearly and with so little need for OR. It's not trivial, it's not OR, it warrants inclusion.--SidiLemine 12:31, 12 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Vol. 16 English release

Just added a quick note at the foot of the manga list stating that Volume 16 will be available to buy from Amazon from September 11th, and I've provided a source link. This may be pushed back though... --Sephjnr

Info On Manga

I added info on the first two volumes of the manga and I'll do more later. I have a website that summarizes the manga that anyone else can use to fill in the information on the other volumes. Right here westside_goth —Preceding comment was added at 04:13, 17 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

So the v19 info doesn't get reverted again...

Wallah, have the official publisher website URL with all the ISBN13s and whatnot: [1] --moof (talk) 17:13, 14 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]
