In various interviews I've seen, Albini denies the name had anything to do with the band's break up (I mean does that really make sense to anyone? Why not just change the name if it was a problem). And in this interview - see http://www.markprindle.com/washam-i.htm - Rey Washam blames his own behaviour for the break up of the band.
