This article needs to be written more properly. I can work on it when I have more time, but just a note - Respiratory compensation is only for metabolic syndromes (acidosis/alkalosis), not for respiratory syndromes (acidosis/alkalosis). The kidneys, however, can compensate for both respiratory and metabolic syndromes. Battykin (talk) 20:28, 9 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]
