I have added its name in Arabic script as it is originally written. Abulfazl 12:32, 17 March 2006 (UTC)
Gurmukhi is not relevent
Gurmukhi is not relevent to this article as the History section clearly describes the origin of the name is Arbaic rather than Punjabi or Sanskrit for that matter. Moreover, this place is in Pakistan where Gurmukhi is not used. Therefore, Gurmukhi should be removed. Szhaider 12:44, 2 October 2006 (UTC)
Punjabi Not Gurmukhi
Dear, punjabi is language of area though area name seems arabic and Punjabi is written in both scripts around the world shahmukhi and gurmukhi so gurmukhi script has equal rights to appear on this page Abulfazl 07:49, 3 October 2006 (UTC)
- My friend, we are talking about Pakistan, not the whole world. Adding gurmukhi means it is the customary script for punjabi in Pakistan which equals giving wrong information as in first line only those scripts are given which are local to the area being dicsussed. If you want to give Gurmukhi, give it somewhere in history section while mentioning "before partition of sub-continent" etc. Szhaider 18:57, 3 October 2006 (UTC)
