"Serial" in the context of Pakistani television[edit]

Is anyone here familiar with Pakistani television and can explain to me what "serial" or "drama serial" means in the Pakistani television context? From reading various sources I'm left confused, as some make it seem as they are either drama TV series, telenovela series or a limited 1-season series. Pakistani dramas doesn't help nor does Miniseries. Just to give some background - in the UK, "serial" means a short (6 or so episode) series, similar to the US "miniseries". The Hum Awards which give a Hum Award for Best Drama Serial says in the lead Best Drama Serial is considered the most important of the Hum Awards, as it represents all the directing, acting, music, writing, and other efforts put forth into a drama. They also have awards for sitcom, soap and telefilm, which either means Hun have no "regular" non-sitcom TV series on their network, or that "serial" in Pakistani television means "TV series" in western television. Thanks in advance. --Gonnym (talk) 09:35, 8 September 2018 (UTC)

Page creations by User:Verifications[edit]

Verifications has been blocked for WP:SOCK and WP:EVADE per User talk:GeneralizationsAreBad#Possible block evasion. Before being blocked, the account was used to create a number of articles/drafts related to Pakastani films/actors such as Licence (1976 film), Lalay Di Jan, Majhu, Gujjar Badshah, Draft:Naghma, Draft:License (1976 film), etc. These probably can be deleted per WP:G5 unless anyone thinks there's anything worth keeping and which might be further developed as an article. -- Marchjuly (talk) 05:25, 11 September 2018 (UTC)

AfD notification[edit]

An AfD discussion at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Universal Insurance company Limited (2nd nomination) may be of interest to participants in this project. This is supposedly a decent-sized Pakistani company, but the very vague name and bad sourcing makes it impossible for me to be certain of anything. Can an editor with more local knowledge comment? power~enwiki (π, ν) 03:34, 24 September 2018 (UTC)

Page move proposal[edit]

It has been proposed that Greco-Buddhist art should be renamed and moved to Gandhara art. See Talk:Greco-Buddhist art#Requested move 4 October 2018. Capitals00 (talk) 07:19, 7 October 2018 (UTC)

Nizamani[edit]

If anyone fancies weighing in at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Nizamani (2nd nomination) then it might be helpful. It suffered from low participation when someone else nominated it some time ago, and the same seems to be happening now that I have nominated it. I've got the feeling that this project is not terribly active but hopefully someone will see this. - Sitush (talk) 03:08, 18 October 2018 (UTC)

Kashmir Day - India's request denied to cancel Kashmir Solidarity Day by British Parliament - Section Reverted[edit]

I am new to Wikipedia and require guidance from this group.

I have recently added a section on India's request being denied by British parliament to cancel Kashmir Day event. This section has been reverted by user which i presume is biased towards this subject. Please advise on how to solve this issue.

Rename category: Category:Dog breeds originating in India[edit]

Shouldn't this be Category:Dog Breeds originating in India and Pakistan? I proposed it here. 7&6=thirteen () 13:34, 25 February 2019 (UTC)

CAC/PAC JF-17 Thunder‎[edit]

CAC/PAC JF-17 Thunder (edit | talk | history | links | watch | logs) was recently fully protected because of POV pushing an edit warring. The fight continues in the form of edit requests on the talk page. I am completely ignorant about anything having to do with the military of Pakistan and India other than hoping that they don't nuke each other, so I would really appreciate it if someone else would look at the page and evaluate the edit requests. Thanks! --Guy Macon (talk) 15:08, 16 March 2019 (UTC)
