The Hillfields was an indie pop band based in London, UK, active between 2007 and 2011. Formed in 2007 when Rob Boyd (singer songwriter and guitarist) and Grant Wilkinson (bass player and film-maker) were joined by Carlos Russell (drummer). They recorded an EP called "A Visit" which was released via Cloudberry Records[1] in 2008. In 2009 they released their first LP called It'll Never be the Same Again[2][3] via the DIY label calledunderused records. In 2010 they released an EP called Come Outside, again through underused records. Both releases were recorded, mixed and produced by Simon Trought in London.

Their song "Spoon" was ranked 9th in 2008's Festive Fifty by Dandelion Radio.[citation needed]
