  • Israeli forces withdraw from neighbourhoods in North Gaza, including Sheikh Radwan, al-Mina district and parts of Tel al-Hawa.[1]
  • Hemedti meet with a delegation of the Civil Democratic Forces alliance (Taqaddum) led by former Prime Minister Abdallah Hamdok in Addis Ababa, during which he agrees to release 451 captives held by the RSF, ensure humanitarian access and protection of civilians, and commit to a ceasefire through direct negotiations with the SAF.[2]
  • The leader of the Nasserist Party, Sattea al-Haj, was arrested by Sudanese military intelligence in what was seen as a crackdown by the SAF on anti-war figures.[3]
  • The governor of North Darfur, Abdel Rahman, is dismissed from his position by Burhan.[4]
  • Pro-Russian authorities in Donetsk claim that four people were killed and 13 others were injured by Ukrainian shelling in the city.[5]

  • Hamas releases an 18-page English-language document reiterating its previously stated rationales and framing the attack in a wider context as a struggle against colonialism, describing its actions as "a necessary step and a normal response to confront all Israeli conspiracies against the Palestinian people".[29][30]
