How does editing Wikipedia relate to Global Issues?

Editing Wikipedia pages relates to global issues because some places in the world have no access to information on some of these topics. As a student at a college, I have access to article sources that many people in the world do not. If I can use my free access to edit these pages, the world will be a more informed place overall.

Article Evaluation: Public Corporation

What is the first page you came to?

When searching Public Corporation, a disambiguation page came up. On this page, there were three links; government-owned corporation, public corporation, and statutory corporation. I clicked on public company.

How does the article compare to what we discussed in class?

The article on Public Company is not a stub it is a more completed article compared to some of the ones we have viewed in class. The article contains a table of contents; history, securities of a company; advantages disadvantages, and stockholders, general trend, privatization, trading and valuation, see also, references, and external links.

What are the problems with this page/what is necessary to improve this page?

Although the article is dense, it is flagged for needing additional citations for verification. This means that the article's citations are not reliable enough, and unsourced information may be removed.

Le Chamossaire

Information that could be added to this article:

Tourism: How many people a year, on average visit this mountain?

Inhabitants: What types of animals or plants live in they area?

Formating?

The article was very short, therefore there isn't a lot of formatting issues.

Neutrality?

The article is informational so there is neutral language.

Article Evaluation: Arch of Janus

This article was written well. There were some more difficult words in the article. Although, they were all highlighted and linked to their definition. The writing was written in a way that someone who had no knowledge on the topic could understand. I did not come across any spelling errors. The article is not a stub, but could use a lot more information. The article could be organized into sections; general information, architect, and history. In the history section the article could talk about how the arch existed over the course of history. There could also be a lot more citations in this article. There were only 4, all except one reliable.
