If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Kiyevskaya (Moscow Metro) requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person, organization (band, club, company, etc.) or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, contest the deletion by clicking on the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". Doing so will take you to the talk page where you will find a pre-formatted place for you to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the page's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, you can contact one of these administrators to request that the administrator userfy the page or email a copy to you. Disambiguation link notification

Hi. When you recently edited Fortis (aerojeep), you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page NTV (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 10:28, 17 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Template naming

Why have you moved templates for the Saint Petersburg Metro from names like Template:STPETERSBURGMETRO lines to names like Template:SPBMETRO lines, when it is much simpler and self explanatory to use Template:Saint Petersburg Metro lines to match the article? That is just moving from one cryptic name to another. Secondarywaltz (talk) 18:51, 30 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]

SPB is a common short naming for Saint Petersburg. I don't see any sense in having long named templates. Artem Karimov (talk) 18:54, 30 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Common in Saint Petersburg and Russia? SPB can mean at lot of things around the world, and you are still using UPPER CASE! Secondarywaltz (talk) 19:05, 30 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Oh, come on! Readers are not involved, it is just for our convenience. After all, can you imagine anything under SPBMETRO other than Saint Petersburg Metro? :) Artem Karimov (talk) 19:15, 30 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Cryptic use of UPPER CASE is the point. "SPB Metro" would be a clearer naming convention. But at least you are consistent. Upper case MOS in Wikipedia stands for "Manual of Style" - not Moscow. Secondarywaltz (talk) 19:33, 30 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Orphaned non-free image File:TV-3 logo.svg

⚠

Thanks for uploading File:TV-3 logo.svg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described in the criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Skier Dude (talk) 06:49, 7 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Translation help please

Hi there.

What does the word "нанашка" mean in English? Little grandmother? Googling doesn't really help at all. Thanks in advance! Peter Greenwell (talk) 12:20, 25 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]

February 2012

You have been blocked temporarily from editing for edit warring, as you did at Template:Politics of Kosovo. Once the block has expired, you are welcome to make useful contributions. If you would like to be unblocked, you may appeal this block by adding the text {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}, but you should read the guide to appealing blocks first.

During a dispute, you should first try to discuss controversial changes and seek consensus. If that proves unsuccessful, you are encouraged to seek dispute resolution, and in some cases it may be appropriate to request page protection. Beeblebrox (talk) 02:10, 27 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]
