Category talk:American novelists was repeatedly archived to Category talk:American novelists/Archives/1 with this change:

{{archive top|...}}{{tl|archive top|...}}

The corresponding {{archive bottom}} was not adjusted in any way, which results in a stripped <div> each time.

If there is a Wikipedia policy or guideline somewhere saying what to do with {{archive top|...}} upon archiving, please link to it here and ping me. In any event, I believe we should "tl" either both or neither the top and the bottom templates. —Anomalocaris (talk) 08:30, 15 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]

@Anomalocaris: Apologies for butting in, but just to advise that Cobi hasn't edited since 2 November last year, unfortunately. Perhaps raise this at the bot noticeboard in the absence of its operator? ——SN54129 10:20, 7 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]
@Serial Number 54129: Thank you for your suggestion. I went ahead and edited Category talk:American novelists changing each occurrence of
{{tl|archive top|...}}{{archive top|...}}
as the discussions were before archiving. —Anomalocaris (talk) 19:52, 7 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]
