I realize I should have reached out instead of ignoring other editors.

I personally have strong opinions about pages I feel should be edited, and I am wanting to know if you are willing to work with me? I have no animosity, and would like things to cool down.

I also feel like, even when I have posted in the edit summary and cited sources in the past, my changes have been erased, so that led me to feel like engaging with other people on this site was not worth it. Not to excuse myself, but to explain where I was coming from.

I want to actually work with people, and see everything that needs to be cleared for a change I make to be accepted among most people on this site.
