remove highlighted from devanga page
The caste claims to be descended from Devala, an ancient Hindu sage. They originated from Andhra Pradesh and Karnataka, and during the reign of the Vijayanagara Empire they migrated to Tamil Nadu. They are of Shudra status in the Hindu caste system. However, they use the Devanga Purana, a text sacred to the Devangas, to claim Brahmin status, despite having a non-Brahmin profession. They replaced their native local gotras with Sanskritic gotras. https://www.academia.edu/34856230/Summary_of_Devanga_Purana Harishsk2022 (talk) 11:11, 13 April 2024 (UTC)

Note
About your edits at Talk:Devanga and other noticeboards and talk pages (WP:ANI, WP:TEA etc.), please don't spam every page asking for your edit to be accepted - this will not make it get accepted faster (quite the opposite). You've already made 5 edit requests to Talk:Devanga alone. I don't understand if in the source no where it is mentioned that we are shudra
that means it's false? I would advise you read WP:RS again and find a proper source. If you cannot, maybe just drop the metaphorical stick and focus on another part of the wiki.
On a side note, competence is required and I would advise you write in coherent English when communicating as some of your sentences seem to run on for a whole paragraph and don't make grammatical sense, hampering communication between you and other users. —Matrix(!) {user - talk? - uselesscontributions} 10:01, 14 April 2024 (UTC)
- Hello.
- I am telling you to remove that sentences
- That's I think you are able to understand my English
- Nothing will happen if you remove Harishsk2022 (talk) 10:05, 14 April 2024 (UTC)
- As you will see from the notice below, I have removed your ability to edit Wikipedia for one week.
- Your repetitive demands, made in multiple places, and on multiple occasions to make an edit that you feel mustbe made is disruptive. That must stop, and you must learn from this short block. Any editor may, of course, make an edit request and be prepared to back up their request with evidence. However, you have been disruptive by repeating the same call, over and over again.
- When your block expires in one week, you may return to editing, but you must not act in the troublesome way you have been doing. If the consensus is not to make a change, then that change will not happen - no matter how many times you ask it to be done. Thank you. Nick Moyes (talk) 10:28, 14 April 2024 (UTC)
