Since you have blanked the page, I'm going to assume you've read and understood the notices I placed, despite your immediate violation of BLP on my talkpage. You are blocked for 48 hours, logged at the BLP arbitration enforcement page. If you repeat the edits in question, you will be blocked for a longer term and will be restricted from editing biographies of living persons. You may also be subject to GamerGate-related sanctions. However, I'm going to hold off on those for now, assuming that you now understand that we take BLP violations seriously, and that ignoring obvious warnings will bring consequences. *Yes, I understand. Do you? I tried to explain that I DID NOT intentionally mean to defame anyone. My intent that pointing that {{redacted}} and requesting an edit that two approved Wikipedia categories be added to her profile would be no different than me adding a Wikipedia category to Kurt Vonnegut's Wikipedia article stating that he is categorized as an American writer, which he is, among other things. And yet you blank out my polite explanation from your talk page and BLOCK ME from editing for 48 hours? What for? Because you haven't the character to act like a man and admit you made a mistake? I'm not {{redacted}} and never have been. I've got a long history of making constructive additions to Wikipedia. Good day. Sanctions

• Yes, I understand. Do you? I tried to explain that I DID NOT intentionally mean to defame anyone. My intent that pointing that (Redacted) and requesting an edit that two approved Wikipedia categories be added to her profile would be no different than me adding a Wikipedia category to Kurt Vonnegut's Wikipedia article stating that he is categorized as an American writer, which he is, among other things. Discretionary sanctions

To enforce an arbitration decision you have been blocked temporarily from editing. You are welcome to edit once the block expires; however, please note that the repetition of similar behavior may result in a longer block or other sanctions. Your ability to edit this talk page has also been revoked. If you believe this block is unjustified, please read the guide to appealing blocks (specifically this section) then contact the Arbitration Committee through Special:EmailUser/Arbitration Committee (or, if your email access is revoked, to arbcom-l@lists.wikimedia.org). You may also appeal directly to me (by email), before or instead of appealing on your talk page.

Reminder to administrators: In May 2014, ArbCom adopted a procedure instructing administrators as follows: "No administrator may modify a sanction placed by another administrator without: (1) the explicit prior affirmative consent of the enforcing administrator; or (2) prior affirmative agreement for the modification at (a) AE or (b) AN or (c) ARCA (see "Important notes" [in the procedure]). Administrators modifying sanctions out of process may at the discretion of the committee be desysopped."

I have extended your block to one month (since your previous, very recent, block was for a fortnight), and I have revoked your talk page access for your continued BLP violations while blocked. This is an arbitration enforcement action under WP:NEWBLPBAN. Further, you are hereby banned from making any edit or participating in any discussion relating to the gamergate controversy, broadly construed. This action is a discretionary sanction in accordance with WP:ARBGG. You were alerted to both these provisions earlier but blanked your talk page. To appeal the block, you can email WP:UTRS and/or the Arbitration Committee; to appeal the topic ban, follow the procedure at WP:ACDS#Appeals once you're unblocked or the block expires. Please note that further BLP violations may result in your being blocked until you can assure admins that you will abide by policy.
