Pinging @BilledMammal, Gonnym, Queen of Hearts: Good day. Thanks for the contribution in relating to mass renamings for the I Can See Your Voice franchise. In case that you made the right decision on categories, please deliberate these (other proposed renamings) before you perform the operation. Remember, I Can See Your Voice is a unique program with format of "mystery music game show" that originated in South Korea in 2015, which is technically classified as a "game show" genre. - @Saisønisse sorry, I missed that in the nom. But it looks like the RM was closed as move about an hour after you posted this, is there anything else to be done? Queen of ♡ | speak 20:44, 17 April 2024 (UTC)
- Pinging @BilledMammal, Gonnym, Queen of Hearts: I simply nothing, but thanks a lot. Saisønisse (talk) 22:09, 17 April 2024 (UTC)

A toast sandwich for you!

- Thank you Hey man im josh; I'm glad you consider it a sandwich and not three slices of bread. Queen of ♡ | speak 06:11, 21 April 2024 (UTC)
- A toast sandwich and a hot dog on a bun, two legitimate sandwich types! Hey man im josh (talk) 14:03, 21 April 2024 (UTC)
Re: Discord
Queen, I really want to apologize for my account being compromised on Discord. Somehow, it kept spamming everybody and everything with the same unwanted invite to an inappropriate server. I do take sole responsibility for it whether it was comp'd or not. Darrion "Beans" Brown 🙂 (my talk page / my sandbox) 21:20, 19 April 2024 (UTC)
Tech News: 2024-17
Latest tech news from the Wikimedia technical community. Please tell other users about these changes. Not all changes will affect you. Translations are available.
Recent changes
- Starting this week, newcomers editing Wikipedia will be encouraged to try structured tasks. Structured tasks have been shown to improve newcomer activation and retention. [1]
- You can nominate your favorite tools for the fifth edition of the Coolest Tool Award. Nominations will be open until May 10.
Changes later this week
- The new version of MediaWiki will be on test wikis and MediaWiki.org from 23 April. It will be on non-Wikipedia wikis and some Wikipedias from 24 April. It will be on all wikis from 25 April (calendar). [2][3]
Future changes
- This is the last warning that by the end of May 2024 the Vector 2022 skin will no longer share site and user scripts/styles with old Vector. For user-scripts that you want to keep using on Vector 2022, copy the contents of Special:MyPage/vector.js to Special:MyPage/vector-2022.js. There are more technical details available. Interface administrators who foresee this leading to lots of technical support questions may wish to send a mass message to your community, as was done on French Wikipedia. [4]

Namelist pages
Hi Queen of Hearts :)
I'm currently thinking about namelist pages, and about whether they're thought of more as disambiguation pages or as stand-alone lists - in particular, for the purposes of rcat tagging (e.g. whether a redirect from Fred (surname) to Fred (name) would be an {{R from unnecessary disambiguation}} or an {{R from incomplete disambiguation}}; whether a redirect from Ffransis (disambiguation) to Ffransis would be an {{R from unnecessary disambiguation}} or an {{R to disambiguation page}}; etc). Looking through my contribs to see how I'd previously used rcats for these sorts of situations myself, I noticed that in February, you added {{R to disambiguation page}} to a redirect I'd created via JWB (Vilhelmsen (disambiguation)); so I was curious to know what your thoughts/understandings were on the subject.
All the best (and thank you for the kitten you gave me last month ❤️), —a smart kitten[meow] 10:34, 23 April 2024 (UTC)
- Hello @A smart kitten, nice to see you around. I did that JWB job off of a Quarry query which checks for untagged redirects from "Foo (disambiguation)" to "Foo". I didn't realize the target was a surname list. I figured {{R to disambiguation page}} would say something about pages that serve a disambiguation-like purpose, but nope. IMO, redirects like this should be tagged to disambiguation, but I'd ask at Template talk:R to disambiguation page. Queen of ♡ | speak 19:16, 23 April 2024 (UTC)

{{subst:currentuser}} has given you a McDonald's Filet-O-Fish sandwich! Filet-O-Fish sandwiches are very popular during Lent and promote WikiLove. Hopefully, this one has added flavor to your day! Spread the WikiLove by giving someone else a Filet-O-Fish sandwich, whether it be someone you have had disagreements with in the past or a good friend.
Spread the fishy, gooey goodness of Filet-O-Fish sandwiches by adding {{subst:Filet-O-Fish}} to someone's talk page with a friendly message!
