Information icon Hello, I'm Sigehelmus. I noticed that you recently removed content from Spotify without adequately explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an accurate edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry; the removed content has been restored. If you would like to experiment, please use your sandbox. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.

If you wish to participate in the 2022 election, please review the candidates and submit your choices on the voting page. If you no longer wish to receive these messages, you may add {{NoACEMM}} to your user talk page. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 00:45, 29 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Tagging

Is your user name deliberately a bit tricky to rag or am I doing something daft? I can't tell what's going on with it on my own talk page? There seem to be brackets in it, but j don't think I put them therr. Sorry, I worry this is a very stupid question. Irtapil (talk) 09:11, 6 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]

No, there should be no brackets. My user name is "St.nerol". Perhaps you're thinking about the square brackets in the code that makes a link: User talk: Irtapil? Anyway, don't worry about stupid questions! :) —St.Nerol (talk, contribs) 09:21, 6 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
To ping someone, you should write {{ping|St.nerol}}. This is automatically replaced with an "@" and the username. For example, I hope this gives you a notification: @Irtapil: ... —St.Nerol (talk, contribs) 09:25, 6 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
The above is true when using "source editing". When using "visual editing" it works differently and there should be a button for tagging. Trying: @IrtapilSt.Nerol (talk, contribs) 09:29, 6 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Signature

Please fix your signature settings in your wikipedia preferences. In your recent posts to WP:COIN, your signature displays as (St.nerol) and none of the links (user page, talk page, contributions) work because they don't target your actual user name. Thanks. Schazjmd (talk) 15:32, 22 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]

@Schazjmd: Thanks for pointing this out. It seems to me that this affected only the link to my contributions, which might be why this has been unnoticed for quite some time. It should work now. —St.Nerol (talk, contribs) 15:51, 22 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Please do not remove content or templates from pages on Wikipedia, as you did at Frieren‎, without giving a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. Your content removal does not appear to be constructive and has been reverted. If you only meant to make a test edit, please use your sandbox for that. Thank you. Xexerss (talk) 00:15, 26 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

@Xexerss: I understand you disagree with the edits. However, the edit summaries said what was removed and why (see [1], [2]). We can discuss the content on the talk page. But can you justify this template, and explain the edit summaries you would have preferred? —St.Nerol (talk, contribs) 10:54, 26 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
