What I did was wrong and I should not have let my frustration out in this venue. But, TOS clearly forgives me based on above, and I also did not drive him away, contrary to Bwilkins's belief. Also, literally minutes before this block, I received a level-4 warning for it, which was a good slap to the face and proper, because I messed up, but the 3 month block felt like a shotgun to the head, because civility has not been an ongoing issue for me, and although I mess up sometimes, I have been avoiding what got me blocked the last time: No drama boards, doing adoption, and my contributions are now adding value. Also, I've been improving my article stuff by using Reflinks to make proper references, find dead ones, and clean up. I was also writing an article for the Canadian airline, Corilair. Yes I messed up, I admit it, but I have apologized, and it's been shown that Soni himself forgives me and disagrees with the block. Mentoring will continue with WTT and/or AK. Also, I'm in mentoring, I'm not going to be perfect and Soni clearly forgives and understands, and he just needs the summer to himself, which is a) Normal and b) Does not indicate being driven off the project. Thanks. WT101 (Chat • Count) 17:57, 7 July 2013 (UTC)
Decline reason:
You comments to TheOriginalSoni were way out of line, regardless of whether they contributed to his retirement or whether he accepted an apology. Your explosion of curses and suggestion that Soni "Either rate it the right way or find somewhere else to contribute" is completely unacceptable, and an apology or a redaction does not change that. Your linking to WP:NPA in one of your adoption lessons, shows me that you knew this, and chose to do that anyway.
I agree with BWilkins that you are creating more work for users here; in this case, the pros do not outweigh the cons. You have not been able to show that you are able to contribute constructively to the project. In three months, try to come back and contribute constructively and civilly. – GorillaWarfare (talk) 21:47, 7 July 2013 (UTC)

Request reason:
Hi everyone. On 6 July, 2013 I messed up: I shouted at an innocent user and using such disgusting language is completely unacceptable, and what I've learned is that there are people on the other side and they are just blatantly unacceptable. With that, I have taken nearly a month off from English Wikipedia to learn and become a better editor for the future. When I'm unblocked, I will explicitly avoid doing/posting at (can and should be official sanctions): *1. AN, ANI, and SPI at all costs and will only report blatant and obvious vandalism to AIV. *2. Permissions/hats. If I want to get one, but before requesting for permissions, I will get approval from my adopter, Dusti and an admin and I must demonstrate my need and knowledge for any tool, but I will not request any for quite a while. My AWB request at Commons was a legit request and I asked Dusti before asking. A measure I will take to ensure the above happens: *3. When in a tough scenario, I will contact Dusti (my adopter), or another user to give me the best advice. Since being blocked, I worked at Commons and was very independent, mostly focusing on WikiGnome fixes on files and uploading files of my own work and was a net positive, as I was working independently without constant reminders and warnings, the only one coming from a good faith error with confusing categories. I also reflected personally on what I did wrong and also worked with Dusti on his test wiki. I have learned what I did wrong and in addition, here is what I intend to do going forward in terms of my work: *1. Work on many sports WikiProjects by writing articles, helping B-class articles to GA, GA to FA, etc and by helping certain task forces, although I will also be working on aviation, cities, foods, and animal WikiProjects too, so I plan to help at any WikiPRoject I can by adding references and creating articles and using ref links. *1A. For sports, AutomaticStrikeout will help me with my sports inquires and writing sports articles. Now that you've seen how I intend to improve as an editor as a whole, I would like to mention that I leave for vacation soon, and that school will start about a week after I get back, so I will have my act together and I intend to move forward in a positive way, and when I'm unblocked, I will not only not be a time sink, but with my good article contributions, I will be less of a time sink and more of a net positive. My apologies for the length and I hope you concur with me. Best, WorldTraveller101 17:38, 1 August 2013 (UTC)
