Vast (also styled Vast Space) is a privately-held American aerospace company based in El Segundo, California. It was founded in 2021 by entrepreneur Jed McCaleb, who is its CEO and sole funder. Vast's announced mission is to develop artificial gravity space stations.[1][2][3]

In February 2023, Vast announced its acquisition of the assets, products, and employees of Launcher, with Launcher founder Max Haot to become president of Vast. The combined company plans to relocate to a new facility in Long Beach, California in the summer of 2023.[1][2]
