Preliminary content. If SIGCOV isn't found, this could be merged with/redirected to List of players who appeared in only one game in the NFL (1920–1929)#1922 rather than deleted. His death in 1935 received multiple news articles that I would argue to be SIGCOV (The Indianapolis Star, The Indianapolis Times, another from the Times) - it seems he was a popular figure in Indianapolis and one article mentions he began his football career in 1904 (when he was 13?!).
