More often, this seems to refer to a completely different device used to weigh trucks. Since that's the more common name, either a redirect with a hatnote 'or' potentially a disambiguation page would be sufficient. Definitely not worth the duplicate page though, since I can't find any distinction and duplicate pages are discouraged.

I think this article may be redundant:

We have an article for checkweigher, and the in-motion scale article says is in-motion scales are "also known as" checkweighers. The checkweigher article says that automatic checkweighers are also known as in-motion scales. The checkweigher article is the older of the two, and it has sources.
